By registering for an account, downloading our software, or purchasing any CharityGlow product or service, you confirm that you (a) are 18 years of age or older or the authorized signatory of the organization purchasing on whose behalf you act; (b) have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and (c) are not listed on any government sanctions or export-control restriction list.
2. Definitions
"Plugin" means CharityGlow Donation Plugin free edition released under GNU GPL v2 or later. "Pro" means the paid add-on extending the Plugin with advanced features. "Theme" means CharityGlow Fundraising WordPress Theme. "Services" means any paid consulting, installation, customization, white-glove build, payment setup, or training work quoted and accepted by written agreement or signed order form. 3. CharityGlow Plugin — GNU General Public License v2
The CharityGlow Donation Plugin (free edition) is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, as published by the Free Software Foundation. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and run the Plugin on as many WordPress sites as you wish — the freedoms of open source. A copy of the GPL v2 is distributed with every copy of the Plugin and is viewable at wordpress.org/about/license.
4. CharityGlow Pro Add-on & Theme — Commercial License
What your license grants you
- Single, Business, Agency tiers — match purchased tier
- Installs on the exact count of live production sites + staging + local dev included
- Updates for the term of the license (annual unless lifetime)
- Priority support channels matching your tier
- Royalty-free use on client sites (Agency tier)
- No redistribution, resale, white-label rebranding, or SAAS wrapper without written agreement
5. Custom services
Custom services are delivered per the written statement of work (SOW) or order form signed by both parties. Fixed-scope projects follow the milestones, timeline, and deliverables agreed. If no explicit SOW exists, the default CharityGlow Services SOW applies (available on request). All custom work includes 2 rounds of reasonable revisions per milestone.
6. Payment, billing & renewals
Charges are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. Annual licenses auto-renew 30 days before expiry at the current list price unless cancelled 72+ hours prior. Nonprofits with valid 501(c)(3) or equivalent tax-exempt status qualify for a 10% discount — contact sales before purchase to apply. Past-due invoices have a 7-day grace period before license renewal is paused.
7. Refunds & cancellations
CharityGlow Pro Add-on and CharityGlow Theme purchases come with a 14-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Custom services and payment-setup fees are non-refundable once delivered or per the refund milestones stated in the SOW. Full refund terms, including downloadable software definition, are in the Refund Policy.
8. Acceptable use & restrictions
You may not: use CharityGlow software or services to process payments for illegal goods/services; attempt to reverse engineer, bypass license checks, or pirate paid Pro/Theme builds; use our brand or logo without written permission in a commercial resale; use CharityGlow forms to collect more personal data than reasonably necessary (data minimization principle under GDPR); or overload charityglow.com networks with automated scans that are not search-engine crawlers or internal uptime monitors.
9. Warranties & disclaimers
All CharityGlow software and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that it will meet all specific integration requirements of every WordPress host, theme, and plugin combination.
10. Limitation of liability · Termination · Governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CharityGlow total cumulative liability under this agreement for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CharityGlow during the 12 months immediately preceding the date the claim arose. Either party may terminate this agreement for material breach upon 14 days written notice if uncured. This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules; disputes are resolved first in good-faith negotiation, then binding small-claims or courts competent in Singapore.
