We make our money from the optional Pro addon, CharityGlow Theme, and setup services — not by holding basic features hostage behind a paywall.
Which WordPress versions & PHP are supported?
CharityGlow actively supports WordPress 6.2 through the latest stable, and PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2 & 8.3. We run automated unit tests against all of them before every release. PHP 8.4 support ships within 30 days of its stable release per our public roadmap.
Will CharityGlow break my existing theme or plugins?
Almost certainly not. CharityGlow enqueues only minimal CSS & JS, and prefixes all internal classes with cg- to avoid collisions. We manually test against the 12 most popular themes (Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence, Divi, Flatsome, OceanWP, Blocksy, Neve, Hello, Storefront, Avada & Twenty Twenty-Six) before every release. If you do find a conflict, our support team will patch it within 7 business days for any Pro/Theme customer.

How do I upgrade from Free to Pro later? Will I lose data?
Install the Pro add-on plugin, enter the license key you get after purchase, and click "Activate". All your existing campaigns, forms, donations, donors, settings & reports from the free plugin remain exactly where they are — untouched. Zero data migration work. You can deactivate Pro any time too; your site reverts cleanly to Free state with no leftover bloat.
